HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER FOR A DVD?

Go to the Shopping Cart, make your selections by clicking on the “Add” button. You can make your selections from several categories listed at the top of the Shopping Cart. You can add or delete at any time. When you are satisfied with your choices, select the button that reads: “Check Out.”

CAN I USE UPS OR OTHER MEANS OF SHIPMENT?

Yes. However, the cost of shipping and the cost for special handling raise the cost dramatically. Also, shipping costs may vary depending on your location.

IS MY PERSONAL INFORMATION SAFE?

Yes, perfectly safe. We use Verisign, a secure gateway processor.

CAN I SEARCH FOR A PARTICULAR FLY?

Yes. Go to the window named, “Key Word Search” and type in the name of the fly pattern.

CAN I SEARCH BY TYER.

Yes. In the search window, type in the last name of the tyer and all his patterns will be loaded for your review.

HOW CAN I FIND THE FLY PATTERNS

The flies your first see are in alphabetical order within each category. If you know the category you want to locate, go to the index at the top of the page and select that group. Or, you can use the Key Word Search window to search by tyer or by the name of a fly.

CAN I SEE AN ENLARGEMENT OF THE FLY?

Click once on the photo to see an enlarged image of the pattern. Be sure to close the pop-up before moving on to the next one.

ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER, HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO ARRIVE

Typically, your custom DVD is processed within one to two business days. We make every attempt to create your DVD the day of your order and send to you via first class mail the same day. You can expect to receive your DVD within five working days. But, if it hasn’t arrived after ten working days, contact your vendor or Video Ventures at billwells@video-ventures.com.

CAN I ORDER SEVERAL COPIES OF THE SAME DVD

Yes. You have an opportunity to increase the quantity during the checkout process. Actually, you can order multiple DVDs with different patterns. Simply click on the “start a new disc” link in the Disc Information box. However, shipping costs will be slightly more.

HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I FILL UP MY DVD?

On the Shopping Cart page, you will see a small circle in the Disc Information box. As you put a pattern into the cart a red color begins to fill the circle. Because patterns vary in duration, the disc fills according to the time—or space—you have left on your disc. When there is no more room, you’ll see the disc completely full in red. If you order more patterns than the disc will hold, the next one selected will be placed onto a separate disc automatically. You’ll see it noted as “Disc 2” in the “Snapshot” box below Disc information. Note: the five fly minimum charge applies to additional disc.

HOW LONG IS A DVD

A DVD can provide excellent resolution for up to two hours of continuous playing. Most of our patterns run from 10 minutes to 14 minutes, so to fill a disc you can select up to eight patterns. The DVD graphic under Disk Information on the shopping cart will indicate how much space you have left for additional patterns.

WHO DO I CONTACT IF I DON’T GET MY ORDER?

Contact your vendor or Email: billwells@video-ventures.com and explain your situation. Someone will get back to you right away with an answer to your problem.

WHAT IF MY DVD DOESN’T PLAY ON MY DECK?

The DVD-R format will play in most DVD players. If you bought your DVD player after 1999, you are most likely able to play the DVD-R format. For more information on this, you can either look at the user manual for your DVD player or visit a DVD player test site. (We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information of this test site, but it is a good informational source for DVD players). If your DVD won’t play check it on another player first to rule out a defective disc. If still won’t play, contact billwells@video-ventures.com
